Benefits Zinc Oxide Powder: How to use Zinc Oxide Powder

Benefits of Zinc Oxide Powder: Zinc Oxide Powder is a key ingredient in many mineral sunscreens for good reason. In addition to providing instant, natural and safe protection for our skin, zinc can provide other benefits to enhance our natural summer glow.

Most of the antioxidants found in our cleansing blends can protect your skin from free radical damage, but 100% sunscreen is essential when spending any time in the sun.

Sun protection should be an essential component of our daily beauty routines, and it’s probably not the most glamorous item of your makeup – but it should! Zinc oxide sunscreen can keep your skin looking younger, even-toned, and most importantly healthy for years. If you are not currently using a natural sunscreen, it is important to understand which ingredients to look for to protect your skin from toxins while protecting you from harmful UVA / UVB rays.

What is Zinc Oxide Powder?

Zinc oxide powder is a type of zinc, an essential nutrient and trace mineral that the body needs for its normal function. Zinc is the second most abundant mineral in the body after iron. Since zinc is not produced by the body, we must get zinc from our diet. Zinc oxide powder is sometimes used as an additive in foods such as food bars and breakfast cereals to increase the zinc content.
